Found a local Farmer’s Market today and couldn’t help but be drawn in by these beautiful flower arrangements at one of the stands. I bought this mason jar of Dahlias and the seller actually taught me something new, too. She said adding a splash of lemon juice and sugar to the water three days from now will help these last much longer. I’m going to give it a try – love the aroma and brightness fresh flowers bring to a room :-).
Also, I decided to try and take at least one photograph every day or two – it’s been a while since I pulled my camera out and it was fun to take some practice shots with these beauties. Plus, I’m still pretty new to town and hoping it will help motivate me to explore the area more.
